It is 2:38 AM on Saturday night and I just got back from friends house. Today was a lazy day, I didn't accomplish much. I heard a great news. I was stressed about something and thank God that my fear is gone astray.
So in the evening a couple of my friends decided to meet up, I took my brothers along and we met at Apna Pizza in Mississauga. We had dinner Shakir paid for it. Then we went to Shakir's place and watched the dunk contest. Close to 11 PM my brothers left for home and the other friends also departed while me, Shakir and his brother Shoaib left for hockey in Brampton.
If you already don't know, I love sports. I can play almost any sport there is... but not good at any. I use to be above average at most sports at various times, depends on what sport I have been playing lately. So yea I use to play hockey and today after about a year I went back to play hockey. These guys are all very competitive they all play in leagues... I don't.
So when I started my first shift I fell bad and hurt my knees and elbow, but didn't let that stop me and scored a goal in that shift. My next shift I got hit on my shin by a hockey stick while trying to score... made a great play from behind the net and got an assist. That was all the injury I could handle and I had lost my breath, it felt like I was about to cough blood. There I realized how much I need to get back to the gym. Since I started working on my election campaign I didn't go to the gym. So yea I stopped and went to play Golf with Shakir.
Now I am not a big fan of golf but I don't mind it, last time I played golf was at a driving range last summer. After a few hits I got the hang of golf again. So yea there I made fun of Shakir because he likes golf and I say its a sissy sport. I told him next time when ever I get injured from hockey I will come and join him at the driving range.
So here I am... with a hurt shin and banged up knees. I love hockey. I am also waiting for a call...

You played well for a guy who doesn't play regularly/competitively... too bad you got injured. I recommend you play every week consistently to keep yourself in good shape - it helps deal with the rigours and stress that life presents.
